February 14, 2009 - Happy Valentines Day. We went to Pickwick Landing State Park for the weekend. There were many 'firsts' for Presley - first dead fish, first dead bird, and best of all it was her first time sleeping on a bed. She hated her harness at first, but once she saw the sand on the beach and started to dig she forgot all about it. We left her in the room when we went to dinner and she did great! Actually, she did great for the entire weekend. We can't wait to take her........everywhere!
We stayed on the ground floor in one of the pet-friendly rooms. Our view of the lake was wonderful and Ms. Presley had easy access to the lawn. This was taken standing on the pier at the far end of the inn.
The wind made for a very chilly day for us, but it was exactly right for sailing on the lake.
